And now, your moment of Zen...

As I was getting ready to go to work yesterday, a confluence of materials caused me to see something which really drove home how much has changed within the last ten years with respect to portable music. One Maxell 90 minute CrO2 tape happened to be sitting next to my 160 gig iPod, which I currently have about thirty-eight days worth of music on...

In other news... to those who have asked me, yes, the recent spate of icon polls (which some of you have not followed through on, cough cough) did make me look at my icons with a much more critical eye. I have replaced some of them with higher resolution images, reframed them properly for 100 x 100 or found more dynamic images thereof. I haven't done this with all of them as I have been unable to find decent images for many - I don't want to replace my icon of Bud from Repo Man, for example, because I like the picture (the original aspect ratio mimisoliel animated icons are not among those I intend to replace).

Since I've been asked, the way to replace an icon is to copy the keyword text from the old icon into the proper field for the one you're uploading. When you click "proceed," the old icon will be renamed with a number while the new one will appear anywhere you've previously used the old one. You delete the old icon and you're done.
