Holy sheepsh!t!!!

La La Land Records just made a Special Announcement that has just completely blown my mind! They somehow managed to get Paramount to license a catalogue film music album! It's Elmer Bernstein's score from Airplane! If that wasn't enough, "Air traffic control also confirms Paramount Pictures has cleared La-La Land Records to line up more exciting scores for final approach in the near future."

Okay. This means:
  • Somebody has finally cracked open the Paramount vaults!!!

  • I'm going to finally get a decent stereo version of a score I've loved forever.

  • La La Land will be releasing what are probably long-awaited titles, and given their focus on science fiction and certain franchise reboots going on right now, I am hoping to see a bounty of riches that await...
