My grandparent's car does not have a CD player. I dug up some old tape cassettes I had and am playing them. It has been a long time since I've used an installed car stereo tape deck, and it is interesting to be dealing with the issues I was so used to before, but have become unaccustomed to since (yes, I have a cassette deck in my apartment, but there is a very big difference).

That was interesting... the same sight also had a Snapeybot that is fun to talk to. It should be noted, however, that at times he can get a little raunchy.
Star Trek is on. The episode is "I, Mudd," and I saw an interesting little detail. When Kirk recognizes Harry Mudd, Chekov asks him who he is, not recognizing him, which makes sense because Chekov wasn't on the first season, and wouldn't have met him in "Mudd's Women." Of course, it was always a big issue in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan that Chekov recognizes Khan even though "Space Seed" was a first season episode. The basic idea that I have accepted is that in the first season, Chekov had the space traveller's version of Montezuma's revenge, which kept him confined to sickbay most of the time. At one point, Khan had to go really bad, and was stuck outside the head. After waiting for an almost interminable amount of time, Chekov finally came out. Khan rushed in, shouting at Chekov as he went inside, "I shall never forget you!"
