You Are 25 Years Old
Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.
13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.
20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.
30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!
40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.
I tested younger than suitboyskin. Interesting
I got the Robert J. Kral sampler for the Angel tracks, but I found that the cues from Miracles (a show that looks like it might be anathema to me with Johnny Depp clone Skeet Ulrich) were quite beautiful in their own right. It's nice to get what you want, but even nicer to discover something unexpected.
The best things about having a decent income again are the little things. "I may need more Brillo soon" is not a frightening prospect that implies weeks of unwashed dishes while I scrape together enough change to get something to scrub them with. Instead it's something that goes on the list on the 'fridge that will be gotten during this weekend's grocery shopping.
In other good news, the powers that be have done me a favor and retroactively turned the days I took off to go to school into vacation days. This means that I took enough vacation days in 2004 to carry over the remainder to 2005. The upshot: nine extra vacation days in addition to the standard two weeks and change I get... plus an extra five days of pay!!!
I hope to see House of Flying Daggers tonight. I have been hearing mixed reviews from different people who have seen it, but I want to judge for myself. I was so blown away by the images and themes of Hero that I'm willing to give this film the benefit of the doubt.
If you're really interested, ask suitboyskin about what the title of this post refers to, because I'm not going to get into it. I warn you, you're not gonna like it...
