What is it? I don't know. It's just something I put together because it was kind of there to do. It happens some times. Enjoy it. Or don't. But do it because it is what you want to do.

Chorus (Henry V)

This is freakin' awesome!!!

Despite the archival sound, this is disc is a wonderful listening experience. As I mentioned a few days ago, some of my favorite CDs are archival; the BYU restoration of Max Steiner's The Adventures of Don Juan and the FSM edition of On Dangerous Ground also from acetate disc sources, and despite the sound anomalies, the freshness of the performance comes through. Add The Jungle Book to that list. While I will be first on line for a re-recording of this score (and Rózsa has been well-served by many re-recordings, most notably by Bruce Broughton for the Intrada Excalibur series), it is amazing to have this.
