Gromit (Wallace & Gromit)

"Spock, you haven't changed a bit. You're just as warm and sociable as ever."

I have completed my Jerry Goldsmith Star Trek mix and am compiling the liner notes in Semagic. They're actually turning out to be a bit more in-depth than I was expecting them to be, which is cool, but that means that they have to be consistent, so it might be a day or two before I have the chance to post them. I am also putting the two Star Trek mixes onto a DVD (in uncompressed Linear PCM), similar to the music DVD projects that I had made previously, but I am using a different program than I had before. It is easier to use, but does not allow me the same control. Does anybody know what kind of DVD authoring software that might serve my purposes more? I'd like to be able to customize menus and create subtitles on the timeline as I did with the original DVDs I made (as I told waystone, I'd like to be able to include some of the cues I couldn't include on the albums proper in the menu screens). This particular project seems to be coming out decently, but not as nice as it would be were I to have more options.

NOT WORK SAFE
Commando isn't a great movie by any means, but it sure is entertaining, in an 80s Retard-O-Tastic™ manner. This chase scene is a lot of fun, but the... er... "interrogation" at the end of the clip is priceless.

I went to my repair yesterday and realized when I had gotten there that I had taken my commuting backpack with me, not my tool bag! This would have been a complete disaster, but I quickly uncovered what the problem was and fixed it, using the nail clipper on my keychain as a punchdown tool. I was going to go back to my hole to get my tools when, due to a lack of work, my colleague Todd put himself on a helper ticket with me and showed up. But... he didn't bring any of his tools, either. The connections I made with the nail clipper were... not that great, so Todd got on the phone to see if there was anybody we could borrow tools from. As a result, Silvio, Stevie Flapjacks and John showed up, each one of them having to be told that I hadn't brought my tools. So the one day that I happened to forget my tools, and more than half the gang has to show up.
