Twin Peaks Season 2 Soundtrack Available for Release on October 23rd According to Ryko Distribution.

After several delays and an announcement almost one year ago, Ryko Distribution has finally listed the Twin Peaks: New Season 2 Soundtrack for release on October 23rd 2007. Although it's being labeled as a Season 2 Soundtrack, our sources tell there's a good chance that the upcoming CD will possibly include a few tracks from Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, Twin Peaks Season 1, and the Pilot. It should be available for pre-order on shortly.

Despite your ambitions to a higher class of criminality, you find yourself condemned to a marginal subsistence as the ringleader of an ever-shifting band of petty thieves. While your low cunning may permit you to elude justice longer than most, your engagement with the gallows is no less certain for its periodic postponement.

Clearing up

Wyld Stallyns does not play “God Gave Rock and Roll” at the Battle of the Bands. The only thing you actually hear Bill and Ted play is the Steve Vai intro... after that, the music becomes commemtative rather than diegetic. The song is not being performed by the band, and the scene is edited in such a way as to emphasize that. We see Bill and Ted play, but we don't hear them; there is no attempt to synchronize the song with the visuals.

This post is actually a test to see how well the BlackBerry handles LiveJournal posts.

Morte d'Blackberry

In a new world's record, I have managed to destroy the BlackBerry within three business days of having gotten it (I didn't touch it over the weekend). The belt clip for it was rather loose, and it took a tumble down the stairs. I picked up what was left of it and brought it back to the office. It turns out that the idea of ordering holding cases for the BlackBerries was on the table but denied because of the cost. So instead of just ordering a $15 case in the first place and be done with it, now they have to order a new $300 BlackBerry.

I have to admit with some embarrassment that, after my initial resentment, I was really starting to like it. It may come to pass that when the time comes to replace this Sanyo (no time soon, I hope) that I may spring for a BlackBerry or something similar for my personal phone. Or maybe not.
