Garber (The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3)

Quit drinkin' the Haterade!

This has nothing to do with anything, but...

I've never seen a woman look better after getting them.

Today I had the misfortune to sit next to an extremely odoriferous person, a prime example of what I called 'wrong guard' in my Commuter's Lexicon. The dude smelled like a gangrenous rhinoceros in heat.

I have just finished the second draft of the new mix I'm working on. It's quite a bit darker and nastier than the last three I did, which tended to be fairly bright and adventurous. It's nice to get a little harmonically dirty again, something which I really haven't done since the angrier parts of Riding As One: The Western Film Scores of Bruce Broughton (upon which I received a rather nice complement on today). It is another concept album, but the title has a visual gag that goes with it (which is what the album cover art is based on), so I won't go into further details here until I'm ready to post the track listing and liner notes, which I'm working on in Semagic and should be finished shortly. However, I will mention that it is another science fiction subgenre mix, and the selections span from 1951 to present.

It just occurred to me that last paragraph sounds like the hints that Intrada or Buysoundtrax drop about their upcoming releases. They're a bad influence.
