I really have to get internet access back in my apartment. This is getting ridiculous. I like the convenience of being able to check my e-mail on my phone, but I am severely limited in how long the responses can be. I also can't check my friends list over the weekend.
On the other hand, in a strange coincidence, I heard from both
aerolyndt and
waystone this weekend. Both of them live on the other side of the country from me, and so it's been a while since I've had a real-time conversation with either of them. It was very very very nice to hear from both of them, and I hope to hear from them again real soon. Yes, both of you. Soon. Don't let the Jack the Ripper thing worry you (see below), it's only a quiz.

Prequel Tunes
While Star Wars Fest 2005 pretty much ended with a whimper after Revenge of the Sith kind of lazily slorged into view, the one thing that I can definitely say about Episodes I, II and III is that they were graced with magnificent scores. When Art was over for the screening of Episodes I, II and the Clone Wars, he asked if I was planning to make a companion disc to my Star Wars Trilogy album comprised of music from the new films. Now that I've seen all three, I can say that the lion's share of bad album programming was done only on the original The Phantom Menace CD, which I could supplement from the "Ultimate Edition" release. Most of what I wanted was right there already. The album is mostly finished, but there are a few places here and there that I have to tighten up a bit. I will be posting the track listing and liner notes shortly.

Jack the Ripper, by far the most notorious killer of all time. What would drive a man to kill 5 prostitutes, surgically mutilate the bodies, then stop, to never be heard from again? Most of the murders were pretty much the same, the victim had her throat cut and her abdomen exposed, the intestines were placed over her right shoulder and sometimes a kidney or even the heart had been removed. Jack the Ripper's murders are still unsolved. Kill count: 5 Find what serial killer you would be, Take the Serial Killer Quiz now!
