A New Month!

I often post links to humorous sites, but this is a very different story. It happens to be an impressive piece of web artwork that is well worth checking out. Make sure you zoom in as well as out.

Attention aerolyndt!!!

I haven't seen you post for a while and want to make sure that you aren't drinking the Kool Aid. I know you're there, I can hear you breathing.

(I also saw you post in dawnpillsbury's journal)

Movie Quote of the Week

Blazing Saddles

Bart and Jim, attempting to discover the machinations of the evil Hedley Lamarr, disguise themselves as Klansmen in order to infiltrate his criminal recruitment line

Hedley Lamarr

Stampeding cattle.

Hedley Lamarr
(not impressed)

That's not much of a crime.

Through the Vatican?

Hedley Lamarr

Kinky. Sign here.

Lamarr and his henchmen are shocked when they see Bart's black hand.

Why, Rhett, how many times have I told you to wash up after a weekly cross-burning?
(rubbing Bart's hand)

See, it's coming off.

Taggart angrily whips off Bart's Klan hood disguise.

And now, for my next impression... Jesse Owens!

Bart and Jim run off.
Hedley Lamarr

Sieze them! Catch them! Get them!

Mount up men! We'll head them off at the pass!

Hedley Lamarr

Head them off at the pass? I hate that cliché!

He shoots Taggart in the foot.

I'm Only Happy When It Drizzles

The weather has decided that it is going to be unreliable. After a gorgeous showing yesterday, we now have an overcast, chilly day. They said that it's not going to rain, but I felt some wetness outside.

The weather is the only thing that I use my television feed for. Every morning I end up flipping through channels looking for somebody showing the dialy forecast. Of course, all the channels have morning shows that list the current temperature on the bottom of the screen, and some even have the ticker explaining the weather (and they are all different, too), but the morning is by and large the only regular glimpse of normal programming I ever see. It's pretty abyssmal. No wonder Americans are so dumb.
