Something to try...

1: Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4, write down what it says.

"If the specified client configuration did not work as expected, modify and document the differences until a working preferred client configuration is installed."

Since I don't know what any of that means, I grabbed the nearest book in the other direction...

"The Babylonians were among the first who elaborated a mythological frame for these universal correspondences."

Now that's a little more like it.

2: Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?

A desk.

3: What is the last thing you watched on TV?

4: WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what the time is.

5: Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?

6: With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?

Cars driving by outside the window.

7: When did you last step outside? What were you doing?

When I got into my car to come here (my grandparents' house) to use the computer.

8: Before you came to this website, what did you look at?

I checked my e-mail and made some other LJ entries.

9: What are you wearing?

Jeans and a short-sleeved collared shirt.

10: Did you dream last night?

Probably, but I never remember my dreams.

11: When did you last laugh?

Reading stuff on my friends page.

12: What is on the walls of the room you are in?

There is little "wall space" per se in this room, as it is primarily made up of book cabinets. There is an enormous wealth of knowledge here.

13: Seen anything weird lately?

I am weird.

14: What do you think of this quiz?

It's interesting. Many of the questions seem to come out of left field, forcing me to actually think about them.

15: What is the last film you saw?

In theaters: Kill Bill, Volume 2
At home: Memento

16: If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?

A brand spankin' new Panavision camera with anamorphic lenses.

17: Tell me something about you that I don't know.

I hate Morrisey's voice. I have nothing against him really, other than the obvious fact that he whines a lot, but his voice is pitched at a certain frequency that literally gives me a headache.

18: If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?

I would try to take some of the aggression and competition out of human nature, hopefully to be replaced with empathy.

19: Do you like to dance?

20: Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?
21: Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?

I'm terrible with names, actually. I probably won't learn their names until they come when you call them.

22: Would you ever consider living abroad?

Possibly. Especially if there isn't a regime change in the White House anytime soon.
