W T F ! ? !

After all of the nice things I have been saying about the iPod lately, disaster struck: Tunes crashed, and now, when I connect iRobby to the computer, I get this message:
iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPod "IROBBY THE". Go to the Summary tab in iPod preferences and click Restore to restore this iPod to factory settings.
The iPod itself says, "No Music," all of the files on are on it but are not recognized as music.

I can go into the iPod files with Windows Explorer and play the music. But iTunes doesn't recognize it as such, and because iTunes is the OS for this thing, I can't play the device itself. I now have to manually copy the music over and back again, unless somebody knows how to unfuck this.

EDIT: I have just called iTunes support. They guy says I have to restore it.

So tonight I spend resynching my iPod.
