Happy Saint Patrick's Day to those who observe such things.

I am coming down with a cold, which precludes me from being able to participate in this year's festivities, but I'm not much of a drinker anyway, so...

I realize I haven't updated in a while. In brief:
  • Between last and this weekend, we got a ton of work done on The Early Mixes. Most of the connective tissue for the project has now been filmed, which only leaves three major scenes and a couple of miscellaneous additional shots left. Sandy and I will start editing an extended sequence together this week.

  • I have completed my Jerry Goldsmith Scores the Middle Ages compilation featuring music from Lionheart, First Knight and The 13th Warrior and will be posting the track listing and liner notes as soon as I complete them.

  • I am way behind on Battlestar Galactica; the last episode I had seen was "Someone To Watch Over Me" (which was pretty damn excellent). Happily "Islanded in a Stream of Stars" is now on Hulu and my brother was able to DVR last week's episode.

  • I see that Facebook Scrabble is acknowledging the notification problems it has been having of late. I am always wondering why people feel the need to 'fix' something that worked just fine the way it was...?

  • Jessica posted this Jet Blue CEO's guide to air travel, which I found quite amusing.

  • Saadia: I have watched Obama's address today, his press conference with the Brazilians.

Josh: I wasn't aware that Obama had a press conference only for people with Brazilians. How did they know they weren't lying? Did they have a pube check at the door?

Saadia: Press conference WITH the Brazilians. Specifically a joint press conference with the president of Brazil.

Josh: Damn. That's disappointing. I was hoping to be able to quit my job and become a pube checker.
