You know, that line is, in my opinion, one of the funniest in Spider-Man 2, yet nobody but me ever laughs at it.

Today I got to hear about Dave Klahr's honeymoon. He and Fran went to Paris and then Amsterdam. Why two straight-edges would go to Amsterdam is beyond me (this is reflected in his insistence that I would love it, but that it was pretty much just relaxing for the two of them after the bustle of Paris), but they had a great time, and I am eager to see the pictures, especially those of the Louvre.
Tomorrow I am going to my stepfather's cousin's wedding. Yes, this is the person who annoyed me by off-handedly commenting that Willem Dafoe was probably involved in that Spider-Man movie for the money (...if there is an actor having a better time than Dafoe clearly is in that movie...), but I will be on my best behavior and avoid calling her and her fiancee pretentious snobs.
I really do hope that this works out for her...

Old, stinky trains...
In order to get here tonight, I had to take the train from Jamaica for the first time in two years. The station has been completely revamped, and many of the lines have these nice, sleek new trains with comfortable seats. The Babylon line, however, is not one of them. They really need to replace those trains, not so much because I think the new ones would be any more efficient, but because I'm tired of that rotten coffee smell that these old Long Island Rail Road trains have... it reminds me of the old Powdermaker Hall.
I hate not having a car.
My sleep schedule is totally screwy, but I don't really see the point of trying to fix it now, when I'm going to be in California in a few days visiting
aerolyndt, and would be having to deal with the minor jetlag that would bring on top of the whole mess.
