I have also checked my Verizon application and found that everything there has been resolved, and so upon my return I will be able to enter my new application into the computer for my next, and final, semester. Yes, ladies and germs, I am graduating. It took twice as long as it should have... more if you count the years I wasn't going to school, in which case it is closer two three times as long as it should have, but it is going to happen in December.
Well, there it is, then.
Today, Mark, aerolyndt and I went to the botanical gardens. I took quite a few pictures, and will be posting thumbnails of them, with links to the full-size versions (they are too colorful and interesting to be done justice by a scaled-down file, but I don't want to suck too much bandwidth!!!) very soon.
Afterwards, Aerolyndt bought six bookshelf speakers and a subwoofer and we went home and hooked up her brand-new 6.1 surround system. Since we decided to wire the speakers through the ceiling, I spent a few hours in the attic, kicking up dust and insulation while Mark fed me the speaker wire. Happily enough, the project was a resounding success, literally.
Aerolyndt also made some sort of frozen drink with the Goslings... it was quite refreshing after the attic. I felt like Captain Dallas (Tom Skerritt) in Alien, going through the ventilation ducts ("...oh my God, I've killed myself..."). Thankfully, I fared better than he did.
Tomorrow we hit the aquarium with Mack and amorpoeta.
This trip has been so much fun. I'm so glad I came.
